Broadview Materials: a short history
In 2008 Broadview Materials was founded following the acquisition of Arpa Industriale as a sister company to Trespa. In the years that followed, Broadview’s portfolio of surface material companies grew further with the acquisition of —among others— Westag, Homapal and Formica, but the group also invested heavily in the development of new, premium and extremely durable surface material brands, like FENIX.
As a group, we share a common sustainability goal: reducing our carbon footprint. We work and invest to minimise our carbon footprint in all our factories by improving our efficiency and transitioning to renewable energy. We make innovation a cornerstone of our strategy to minimize the impact of our products and manufacturing processes.
Today, Broadview is the world’s largest manufacturer of surface materials. Fifteen factories across Europe, North America and Asia employ over 6000 people, producing materials that typically find their way to end consumers through distributors, OEM manufacturers, carpenters and retailers.
